Urnana and her friends had a get together in Valendas, the village she lived in with her husband and children. We tagged along. The village has about 300 people and is about 2600 feet high.

Urnana lived in this house until a few years ago. When Thomas and his papa helped clean out the barn, they found a broken chest with 1807 (or something like that) chiseled on the front. that was the year it was made. Everything is antique here.

The road home: tunnels, winding roads big enough for only one car-sometimes you have to back up to give the other person space to pass. Watch out for the rock slides!
