The Voca People

We were able to attend quite an amazing performance by the “The Voca People” on Thursday night. The group of eight performed popular songs using their voices only completely recreating the effects from instrumentation.

Hearing the acoustics live is an amazing experience, the YouTube clip doesn’t even come close.

We purchased discounted tickets at the kiosque of Madelaine. The lady assured us that the tickets were “1st superior” class, also written on the ticket, but the seats could only be assigned at the theatre.  As it turns out, there is a gold class, which is even “more superior” than 1st superior, and seeing the discounted tickets, we got seats assigned on the edge (H1 and H2). Interestingly, the seats were not numbered, and you were led to your seat by an usher. After being seated, we also noted that everyone was tipping the usher right before seating down. Anyways, in the end, all turned out fine, as the usher gave us empty seats, and we had a really good view of the 90-minute show, which was super captive in itself. Also, as an end result, we got involved in the show, and fortunately not in the part where one guy lost his shoe and shirt.
