When we arrived, we received a letter with instructions for kindergarten preparations. Neni had registered Anton. Like students in the US, we had a list of supplies to bring, but it’s slightly different from the US: a cup, finken (house shoes), a snack box, and gym shoes. We had a lot of fun trying to find them.
School is 8:30-12, Monday, Wednesday-Friday in Präz. On Tuesday, he goes to a different village (Sarn) for painting and gym class in the morning, go home for lunch, and return to Präz for school until 5. There are a total of 13 kids (including Anton) from six villages.
