We stopped by Bern on our way home and whoa!! Fire fighters and equipment everywhere! I’m just guessing but I think Lukas would say this was the best part out of the whole trip!
Lukas is in heaven aka a fire engine. They were closing down the truck and we were lucky they didn’t kick us out. We would have had a lot of screaming, and that’s just from the parents.

We thought we were done but stumbled upon these firefighters putting out a “doll house fire.” Lukas and Anton got to chance to help out.
I bet Anton and Lukas were in 7th Heaven!!! 🙂
Thomas thought the line was too long so he didn’t want the kids to wait to sit in the driver’s seat. But when I reminded him that the boys probably think this is better than the Matterhorn, he decided to wait. And the boys sure enjoyed themselves.
