Anton and Lukas had their first day in Kindergarten. It was a fun or play day for them. We dropped them off, had coffee with two teachers to discuss goals and so forth. By 10:30am, Lukas started crying for Mama unrelentingly and we had to return and sit with him until 11:15; which is nap time. Afterwards he stayed until 15:30h and seemed to have a reasonable first day. Anton did very well. He finished his lunch, even though he said he didn’t like one of two things. The school has its own kitchen.
At some point you will have to give us a short description of the different experiences with Kindergardens in the US and in Vietnam. What is similar/different and what can you recommend for kindergardens in the US?
