On our way to the city yesterday, I noticed a motorcycle pass by with two people and thought how Lukas would have loved to see that if he was with us.
Five seconds later, we came upon an accident with the driver faced down on the autobahn (freeway). So scary! We stopped and helped but it just reminds me of how frail life can be. And how things can change in five seconds!

Both motorcycle passenger and driver were astonishingly ok for falling off the motorbike at about 60 mph onto concrete. They had driven over some grass on the edge of the road and lost control. The car that was driving behind them was able to swerve in time and barely missed running over the driver. They were wearing their helmets and protective clothing and the passenger was walking and talking when we stopped. The driver was unconscious for a few minutes and didn’t remember anything that happened. Angels were working hard that time.
